Privacy Policy
Tidpunkt is made in Latvia, and we host your data in the European Union. We collect as little as we can, tell you plainly what we do with it, and never sell it. This policy explains the details.
What we collect
We collect the information needed to run the service and support you:
- Account data — your name, email, company, and password (stored hashed).
- Time & project data — the entries, projects, clients, rates, and invoices you create.
- Billing data — plan and payment details, handled by our payment processor; we don't store full card numbers.
- Usage & device data — limited, privacy-respecting analytics and logs to keep the service reliable and secure.
How we use it
We use your data to provide and improve Tidpunkt, to bill you, to provide support, to keep the service secure, and to send essential service messages. We do not sell your data or use your time entries to train models.
Legal basis
Under the GDPR we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the service), our legitimate interests (to secure and improve it), your consent (for optional analytics or marketing, where required), and legal obligation (for tax and accounting records).
Who we share it with
We share data only with the processors that help us run Tidpunkt — hosting, payments, email, and error monitoring — under contracts that require them to protect it. Where a provider is outside the EU, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can delete your account and export or erase your content at any time, subject to those obligations.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where we relied on it. Export is built into the product; for anything else, email privacy@tidpunkt.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies
We use the minimum cookies needed to sign you in and keep the service secure, plus optional, privacy-respecting analytics that you can decline. We don't use advertising trackers.
